Vernon Union Church
“When we at the Vernon Union Church were considering installing a handicap lift in our building we made contact with several builders. Most of those we talked with were quite apprehensive to get involved as our building is over a century old and defies some of those characteristics that builders like to work with such as plumb, level and square. We found you and your team ready and willing to accept the challenge and to work with the company we were purchasing the lift from. There are several things that we appreciated about the manner in which you and your workers conducted your work. One of the most outstanding of which many members of the congregation made mention, was the effort put forth to be as clean as possible. Even with tearing out plaster and lathe and working with drywall, the dirt and dust we had to clean up in preparation for our Sunday services and other activities was minimal. Tools, materials and conditions that could be a potential danger to children were always taken care of when the building was going to be used. I want you to know your many qualities that made me feel so comfortable working together. You always kept us informed. We knew what to expect and when. Every man on the crew was courteous and friendly. Promptness was a value you all adhered to. The quality of your work is superb. And what attention to detail. It is clear that you all take pride in doing your very best. Lastly, you held all your sub-contractors to the same high standards. When someone wasn’t here on time, Hal was on the phone inquiring about the delay.
